Universe Premiers

One of the main objectives of this radio show is to play unique and beautiful music; music that is important to me and which I feel will resonate with that deliberation which even I am mirroring. I believe it to be of great importance to free up this medium by "air"-ing things for the first time.
Such has been the case with the Forest Bride box set, Good Rester, Alch3mi$t, Daniel Lofthagen, and, likely, others.
I am hoping that through this effort, a higher associative context will be allowed to manifest - perhaps the one for which I gesture.
Universe Premiers....

Update

In the near future, you will find here downloads of featured music, archived playlists, and links to recorded interviews which will be conducted on and/or for the radio show at WQMC.

Two pieces of information:

Throbbing Gristle will be playing at the Masonic Temple in Brooklyn the 16th of April here in New York.
The interview before the show will be conducted by Fabio Roberti at www.wfmu.org; his wonderful and amazing show airing every Wednesday night from 8-11 Eastern Time. Failure with Fabio is his show title, and his archived shows and mp3 archives are extensive and entertaining.

The Radio will soon be airing two really special, maybe three, interviews and personality exposures in the nearer future. I am trying to get in touch with Mr. Roberti, for such, and also for his expertise in Fireworks Edition label founder Leif Elggren. He is also a member, as am I, of Styx Forlag, the Stockholm-based publishing house and more. Both of these gentlemen will hopefully be sought for a recorded interview from now til the Summer when Mr. Elggren will be in New York for the No Fun Fest. Also, we have members from the North American band Let's Say Baltimore here in New York and we're trying to devise a way to record a live performance. Associated material to soon be covered contains Fognode, The Good Rester, Let's Say Baltimore, The Doomers, and a selection of records provided by Leif Elggren from the Fireworks Edition label.

Tune in and enjoy.
Tuesday nights 6-8pm Eastern Time @: wqmcradio.com

Announcing

In the past month, I have begun airing a radio program at the school I attend. On the radio, one will be able to hear the best and most interesting music I have heard, or am listening to at the time. Also, information is given about the artists, a piece's availability and sources.
In all, information is the premium there. In combination with inspiration of course.
Why should you listen to the show?
The pursuit of the finest music the actively listening spirit can handle has been the pursuit for well over a decade now. This objective has borne fruit in its short and dedicated time spent.
What could you hear?
Anything, by and large. The first show covered surf music from Chile to N. America; Mexico to Peru. Bands like: Los Belkings, Los Holy's, The Index, Link Wray, The Phantom Surfers, The Same People, and more.
Since, the opportunity has been taken to air the likes of: Throbbing Gristle, Leif Elggren, Jim O'Rourke, Darin Gray, Grand Ulena, Alch3Mi$t, Albert Ayler, Neko Case, Chris and Cosey, Cornelius, Grails, He Can Jog, Ariel Pink, Daniel Lofthagen, The Conet Project, Alice Coltrane, Forrest Bride, Lambchop, Hands Off Cuba, Juana Molina, Jackie-O-Motherfucker, Pankelfars & Blund, Lightdreams, Linda Perhacs, The Cherry Blossoms, Eddy Detroit, and much much more.
The psychedelic aspects of all the above and to-be mentioned artists will be given special attention. Such could be a running theme for the show. But, this is a freedom radio in a way. The rules are quite minimal and advertising is non existent, and we don't need or ask for any money. I assume all is taken care of by the school, though I, as of yet, have no part in that.
Airing every Tuesday night via live Quicktime stream from 6-8pm NY Eastern Time @: www.wqmcradio.com.
Your host there is ADHDJ, the Younger.
